About me

After receiving my Ph.D. degree in August, 2021, I am now a postdoctoral fellow in Professor Tatia M.C. Lee’s lab, my Ph.D. supervisor, in the Department of Psychology at the University of Hong Kong. I was awarded the Hong Kong Research Grants Council Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme 2021/22 in April, 2021 (1 out of 50 per year). I am interested in using functional and structural brain data to build machine learning models to predict cognitive and emotional functions in healthy and clinical populations.

I received my M.E. Degree in Psychology from South China Normal University (Psychology ranks 2nd in China) in 2017. My thesis applied the maximum uncertainty linear discriminant analysis (MLDA) to explore the changes of activity in brain networks before, during and after mental rotation task.

In addition, I was the Chair of the Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM), Student and Postdoc Special Interest Group in 2019-2020. This committee provides support and network for students and postdocs. We published a joint work in Neuron where we gathered helpful advice for early career researchers in self-management.
